So we formed in LA, sold all of our shit, quit all of our jobs, rehearsed our fingers to the bone, and started touring the country. After a few years of that craziness, we just kinda stopped going back to LA and rented a place in Denver. We couldn't be happier with that choice....great people, fresh and vibrant music scene, and the cost of living ain't too shabby either.
We are Fire In The Asylum. We have our own sound. We come hard or we don't come at all. If you like pounding rythyms, meaty guitars and basses, insightful lyrics, and balls to the wall live shows, then you'll like us. We are not genre based. We like punk...We are not punk...We like metal...We are not metal.........We like classic rock, stoner rock, grunge rock, funk, jazz, hip hop, and country and we are none of those things......yet all of those things. We are Fire In The Asylum. We are burning conventional paradigms to the ground. We are manifesting our own destiny DIY style. We encourage you to do the same.
