firewerks. is a 22-year old up-and-coming DJ and producer from Worcester, Masschusetts- but dont let that fool you. This guys got a lot to show for his efforts. Specializing in an eclectic blend of electro, dubstep, and hard dance he dubs popstep, firewerks. is quickly making a name for himself in the local EDM circuit.
firewerks. productions are heavily sample-based (à la Pretty Lights and Girl Talk). firewerks. draws heavily from genres as diverse as country and folk, disco, old-school hip-hop, and EDM- to create an accessible sound- with a signature twist. Based on the heavy use of samples employed by firewerks., every track is always available as a free download.
As a DJ, firewerks. selection and mixing style has been compared to the stylistic likes of Ravine and Diplo, and his upbeat brand of electro and dubstep always shakes things up on the dancefloor. Whether that dancefloor be at a local university, the areas largest weekly EDM event, or a beauty pageant (yeah its been done), firewerks. sounds have consistently satisfied party-goers and bassheads alike.
