First Birthday for Kitty is a collaboration between teenage bedroom songwriter / producer Erin Foster (ex EMC), guitarist Andy Davies (ex Kim Killspeed) and Producer Ian Berney (Birds of Tokyo, Kiko Smokes).
Named Emotional Availability, our 4 track EP screams teenage angst, with simple stories told. We are proud of the result, which was painstakingly recorded and produced in a home studio in the Inner West of Sydney.
About Erin: she is 19 and grew up on a remote property on the mid north coast of NSW but is now in Sydney. She was home schooled and self-taught everything – song writing, music theory, production and DAWs. She says her style is finding out how to express something without taking it too seriously.
