First Due

First Due began innocently enough as a few friends getting together on our days off to learn to play music. None of us had really intended on being a band. We just enjoyed hanging out and playing. In fact not one of us had ever been in a band. After a few months of hounding from friends and family we decided to do a show. We would play on a weeknight at a friends bar for free and invite people we know. What we thought would be 30 people turned into 130 and after playing our handful of songs twice First Due was born. Within 48 hours we had booked 2 more shows including a Fire Jamboree that had brought in some national acts. That was April 9th 2009 and its been “Light Speed Ahead” since! Playing 15 shows in 2009, 30 shows in 2010 and over 50 shows in 2011. In late 2010 First Due purchased a 12,000 watt JBL Pro sound system and brought in a talented sound engineer to run it. In 2011 First Due was invited to Rock the “Shoe” at the OSU vs. Penn State football game. In 2012 First Due Rocked 4 different States on the 2012 End of The World Tour. In 2013 First Due will release their first album! Stay tuned, The History of First Due is still being written!
