Fits of Genius (FOG) was created in 2012 and is the brainchild of New York City based producer and composer, Brian Thomas O'Donnell. The music can be described as modern futuristic electronic pop with warm analog synths, beat driven melodies and re-imagined found sounds from abroad.
Not wanting to be pigeon-holed to an exact music style, starting FOG was a means to cloak the endless ideas and frustrations that come from a multi-disciplined approach to writing and performing. An electronic tech-geek buy nature, Brian likes creating music that blends real analog synths, drums machines, live percussion, guitars and vocals with very catchy hooks.
2014 marks the Fits of Genius self-titled debut that is inspired by space exploration, science fiction, nature and personal exploration.
