FITTED

Born and raised in sunny West Palm Beach Florida, Gregory Artaveus Caldwell the young hiphop artist found early in life that music was part of his DNA. A true performer from the start, Greg started rapping at 13 years old, and hasn’t stopped since. Whether it was his high school’s version of American Idol (2004), or Amateur Night at the Apollo (2006), Gregory Caldwell takes the stage and owns it. In high school Greg was known for always having the latest head gear, thus the name Fitted.

In 2008 Fitted appeared on the Source Magazine UNSIGNED HYPE Tour. In 2010 Fitted’s music has been featured on upstate stations such as WAJZ (JAMZ 96.3), WCDB, WVCR (88.3 The Saint) and WRPI. In January of 2011 he was a featured opener during the Wu-Tang Clans REBIRTH TOUR.

Gregory “Fitted” Caldwell has had the opportunity to sit down with industry professionals such as Miguel (JIVE Records) and Yung Berg (Bloodline, E1, EPIC Records) to discuss his motivation, gaining insight on performance techniques and advice on development. Taking this advice to heart, Fitted is constantly writing, developing new ideas and producing new, fresh music.

On any given day he can be found in his studio with a pen and paper, a 2 liter of orange soda and a pack of Newports with new beats and lyrics on repeat. Taking influence from artists such as Kanye West, Eminem, the drive and lyrics from Jay - Z and self motivation from Wiz Khalifa, Fitted is on a constant quest to improve and hone his art. His most recent released mixtape, Remember Me, is available for free download and his 2007 (EP) Through my eyes is available on iTunes. This collection has proved to be a strong milestone in his career. Fitted is currently in production with his latest (LP), soon to be named, and will be out in Early 2012, along with another mixtape (not titled yet) in July 2011.
