"Stellar Musicianship and Monster Vocals"

Stellar musicianship, youthful and energetic stage appearance, and MONSTER vocals can be expected while attending a Fitzmaurice band performance. This band demanded my attention and kept me waiting for the next tune when I saw them live last Spring. When these folks deliver a song, they're not faking it. The feel in every downbeat as well as the soul that breathes in every lyric is the real deal! - Josh Shilling - Mountain Heart, Personal quote

"Holy Moly Major World Class Talent"

People tend to dismiss things which at first glance might seem gimmicky. Yes, Fitzamaurice is composed, in part, of 21 year old twins Maria & Sarah Fitzmaurice, and yes they are stunning and downright mesmerizing, but if you think they look good, wait till your ears and heart kick-in. Thirty seconds into "Cross Your Mind" and you will immediately forget they are twins and see them as amazing songwriters and artists, and 30 seconds later think "holy moly major world class talent going places big time soon"... and guess what; Brandon Snellings, Aaron Malone, and Mike Simms are equally talented. Do not deny the serendipity which brought you here. These young folk are the real deal. Get their new CD and if you are an eBayer get yourself 2 dated & signed copies, one to keep and one for your IRA. - Henri Deschamps, The Bluegrass Legacy

"So Easy to Like"

It's always great to hear music from a newer band that has not only talented musicians, but great singers and songwriters as well. The Fitzmaurice Band seems to have a way of just doing what they do - not trying to be anything but themselves, which makes them so easy to like. - Sierra Hull, Personal Quote

"One of the Best New Bands in the Business"

Fitzmaurice is one of the best new bands in the business! Stellar vocals combined with superb musicianship and incredible material makes Fitzmaurice a new force to be reckoned with. I'm very proud to call them my friends. - Josh Williams, The IBMA's Emerging Artist of the Year, 2010. - Josh Williams Band, Personal quote

"Stop and Take Notice"

I'd have a hard time taking this out of rotation in my CD player. It's the kind of sound that would make me stop and take notice if I heard it at a festival. You'll definitely be going places with this CD. - Andy Moritz - Cadillac Sky, Personal Quote

"One of the Best New Bands in Recent Years"

This is one of the best new bands I've have heard in recent years. Perfect harmony with energy. When I have a chance I love to jam with them. The only problem is I can hardly play as I get caught up in to those heavenly harmonies. You will see this group have songs on the bluegrass charts. - Billy Lee Cox - National Banjo Champion, Personal quote

"Young sisters bring mature country sound to Puck"

Still in the ever-changing phase of being 20-something, these ladies sound as seasoned and professional as the big timers who grace Country Music Television and radio every day. Take Maria, the main vocalist, who can be compared to sweetheart Sarah Evans. Her vocals are smooth, touched with moments of originality, and powerful.
- Lisa Rich, New Jersey Times

"The Fitzmaurice Band EP"

Fitzmaurice is an Alt- Country group based out of Bowie, MD with roots in country and bluegrass music. The group is wrapped around the stunning vocals of twenty-two year old, identical twin sisters, Sarah and Maria Fitzmaurice. Their voices are so strong and their chemistry so natural, they make great music look easy. It was only a matter of time before word got around.

Bluegrass Unlimited writes:

“This is a group with ability, style and origionality that are absolutely astonishing for being so new.”

Fitzmaurice has been wowing audiences throughout Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Tennessee, with a growing international fanbase and requests becoming more and more frequent to start touring Europe and Australia.

Summer 2011 was an exceptional time for the group. Only 6 short months after announcing their crossover to country music, they had the pleasure of sharing the stage with some of country music’s biggest stars and songwriters including Dierks Bentley, Darius Rucker, Jerrod Niemann, Trace Adkins, Brantley Gilbert and most recently, The Band Perry.
