Five Blunt G

I grew up on the Westside of town of Columbus. I have two best friends I ve known for over twenty years. I have met a lot of haters along the way and didnt realize until I was older that it was jealousy. I have always listened to rap, but I did not get into it all the way until I heard 2Pac's All Eyes On Me in high school. This was the realest music I had ever heard and it touched me because I felt the lyrics as it applied to my life. There were no secret messages or lessons, it was given to you blunt. My older brother influenced me because he used to write a lot of deep poetry. So I began writing rhymes in school, work, and at home. Now I have lyrics scattered everywhere...lyrics put on paper in a stack of notebooks, pieces of paper in shoeboxes, and almost every storage box I can think of. Writing was like a hobby but more. They were personal thoughts and an expression of me as a person and all bullshit Ive gotten past in my life. I really feel I need to do something because time is running out and I know someone is going to get excited when they hear the talent of my flow and freestyle abilities. Most of all, my music is not lame!! I stick to good rap vocab and topics. Im practically a rap critic myself having over 600 CD's all rap, and I know when a song is going to be a hit or when an artist is gonna blow up from underground to mainstream.
I havent always been Five Blunt G, it just happened when I was rapping. I was kicking a freestyle one day while rollin around in my ride, and the analogy hit me,.....like a four star movie, Im a Five Blunt G! I went crazy as soon as I said it and decided right then that was my rap name.
