Bio

Independent recording artists, Five Smooth Stones have been playing the Mid-Atlantic area for the last four years, from intimate venues including coffee houses and churches to crowds into the thousands at festivals like Park Rock in southern Maryland. Recent highlights have been shows at Baltimore’s Recher Theatre and a private benefit held at Steelworkers Hall in Baltimore.
Five Smooth Stones is a family band from northern Baltimore County’s infamous Hereford Zone. Blending diverse musical influences, such as Jars of Clay, newsboys, Switchfoot, Mute Math, Dave Matthews Band, U2 and more, Five Smooth Stones' original music can best be described as Gospel:Rock; each song is lyrically founded in God's Word and musically formulated on the guitars, bass & drums energy plan. Five Smooth Stones’ engaging live show gets the audience involved, drawing them to participate in the moment, then fostering a desire to participate in the kingdom, in service to one another. Cover tunes from their range of Christian and popular music influences are often included in the set.
