The band Five Star Fiasco is set to play The Parish at the House of Blues in New Orleans, Sept. 19.
Five Star Fiasco released their self-titled debut cd in June. Three of the members of the band are singer Ricky Killingsworth, ead guitarist Chris Strahan, and drummer Jordy Tourne’ all Bogalusa natives. The fourth member is bass player and Cleveland, Ohio native Chris Siciliano who now resides in Slidell. Also on the ticket are the bands Allyria and Future Leaders of the World. Five Star Fiasco is a five piece modern/progressive rock band from South Louisiana. They formed in 2006 with singer Ricky Killingsworth, guitarist Chris Strahan, and drummer Jordy Tourne'. 2009 brought with it the addition of bassist Chris Siciliano, and in 2010 guitarist “Hippie Jon” Borum came on the scene, thus completing the line-up. Since completing their self titled album in June of 2009, Five Star Fiasco has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with acts like Framing Hanley, Pop Evil, Future Leaders of the World, and have celebrated being placed in 3 categories on the official 2011 Grammy ballot. Musically, with their driving sound, intricate diverse hooks and melodic vocals, not to mention their overall ambition and dedication to the music scene, Five Star Fiasco is a band to watch on their rise to the top.
