Fivestar

I am Fivestar, an 18 year old Hip Hop/Rap artist from the outskirts of Detroit, MI. Ever since I was a child I have loved music. At age 7 I started playing guitar and from there I took up piano and audio production on the computer. I've experimented with a few different genres such as Rock/Metal, Electronic, and Rap. I recently started rapping about a year or two ago and since then I've built a small recording studio in my basement and started producing my music. The music I make revolves a lot around what happens in my life and the different emotions I feel. It is a great way to express myself to others that may seem the same way. You could say that I have some of the qualities that rappers have these days, but what makes me different is that I'm not afraid to speak my mind in my music. I'm not too concerned about fitting in, I do my own thing. I've been influenced by thousands of musicians in my life, some of the biggest being Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, MOD SUN, Linkin Park, Jimi Hendrix, and Biggie Smalls. Like these highly successful artists, I'm just looking to make a change in the world.
