Fixtion is an ambient electronic artist that takes a lot of cues from artists such as Burial and Four Tet. "Space Noise" is his debut EP and quite a stunning debut at that. Mixing ambient synths and cut up vocals with house style beats Fixtion has already created a unique sound and style. The songs on the EP are short, punchy, and leave you wanting more in a very positive way. I hope to hear more from Fixtion very soon. - Squid Hideous

Fixtion is the solo project of a being from the far away land of Sheffield, England. After performing in various bands and touring around the globe Fixtion decided to start his own solo project inspired by long bus ride homes late at night. Using nothing more than a Dell laptop and a copy of Cakewalk given to him by a friend Fixtion made his debut EP, "Space Noise" and released it onto the internet. The EP turned out to be quite liked and got positive reviews, so Fixtion started working on his debut album. Three years later the album was finally done. Fixtion's debut album, " Positive Magic" will be released May 20th,2014 on Ugly Stereo Records.
