We are Flags, based in Bath, Somerset.
2011 has been a great year for us so far; we signed to local record label, Foolscircle Records,
released our self-titled debut EP and just completed a UK national Tour. Our sound has been compared to the likes of Biffy Clyro and Elbow.
Bristol's venue magazine even described our sound as having 'full frontal
big anthemic indie sweeps a la Elbow, wrapped around a warm Guy Garvey-like voice, big and open-hearted'.
The 1st of August saw us expand our released repertoire with the single
release of 'GHOSTS'. It has already been played on Amazing Radio
(http://amazingradio.co.uk/) who described it as having 'Biffy Clyro style grandeur.'
BBC Introducing have also featured us a number of times in both Bristol, Kent and Leicestershire, and are eagerly awaiting our next E.P to be recorded in Novemeber of 2011.
