1 FlamencoNova cd titled "Rumba in Blue"
The Rumba in Blue CD features 10 original FlamencoNova works. Of course the Rumba in Blue as the title alludes too is a heavy blues compostion with trumpet leads and background singers and ends with our FlamencoNova signature heavy dance beat ending! The compostions range from the romantic rock ballad "Concerto in E min" to the nuevo rumba stlyes of Rumba in A min, and Rumba in E (complete with symphonic strings). In the CDs musical journey there are visits to the traditional Flamenco Tangos, and Bulerias with and urban twist though, and orchestrated with electric sitars and banjos and bullets? There is also a very beautiful Rock/Rumba ballad Prelude in D min. complete with a phenominal drum solo by Carlos, and the hard rocking bass line of Jeff

A quartet of highly improvisational virtuosos equally at home in perfoming original compostions from beautiful trumpet/guitar led rock and rumba ballads to such beautiful masterpieces as Aranjuez Mon Amour and the highly contagious dance rumbas of Ottmar Liebert and the Gypsy Kings further electrified with Jazz Horn and phenominal Flamenco Guitar leads from a guitarist trained in Rome's Santa Cecilias Conservatory of Music, to hard rock ballads in the flamenco-rumba beat of Metalica's Enter Sand Man, Guns and Roses' Sweet Child of Mine, Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven (with an out of site heavy dance beat finale!) Rick James Super Freak, Michael Jackson Beat It, Pink Floyd Money and on and on. FlamencoNova band is at home whether rocking the crowds at the San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival's outdoor stage, leading a flamenco dancer in a Sevillana at the Omni Hotel Grand Ball Room, or playing the blues at the cozy Le Papagayo french bistro.
