Bio

We play post pop, indietronica music.
Our lyrics are focused on human failability amongst future environments, paranormal against practical life, nature overriding progress/science... our conceptual inspiration comes straight from movies like Minority Report, Code 46, Gattaca, 28 days later, Alien; medical science books like Phantoms in the Brain and Chuck Palahnniuk's oeuvre.
Musical similarities range from Flaming Lips' "Yoshimi... " and Postal Service, to Tom Ze, Butthole Surfers, Devo, Led Zep, XTC, Heavy Vegetable, 80's new wave, ABBA, Wedding Present, Black Sabbath and a load of indie/alternative old & new school legacy.
Our few covers tibute The Pixies (i bleed) and Ween (what deaner was talkin' about), though preparing some other to Benjamin Diamond (little scare) and Velvet Underground (one of these days) in studio.
Monica and Uili's skeletons in the closet include leading roles in legend mexican bands Los Esquizitos (punk-surf-garage-psychedelic-old time country-wacked out film noir swing) and Lost Acapulco (surf-hot rod). Luis used to be lead guitar and engineer for premier funk-core band Petroleo. Jorge Vilchis still plays guitar with La Gusana Ciega. Jonathan's also a session drummer/producer/indie label manager.
Main stages we've played: Festival Internacional Sonorama (with headliners Yo La Tengo and Tristeza plus 10 bands from around the country); NYE 2006 Mexico City's Fest at Angel de la Independencia Square and Ibero909radio college radio showcase for the john peel-like show Clickaporte.
