Flank formed in mid 2008 just outside of Boston, MA. Drawing from influences anywhere from Black Sabbath to James Brown, they create a sound of their own without losing touch of what people have loved about music for the past century--bringing you back in time just to show you the music of the future.
Using a constant attack of acoustic and electric guitar, Flank keeps things interesting with generous amounts of both melodic and heavy tones. When you combine that with powerful bass lines that know how and when to groove their way in and out of clever, rock-hard drum beats, you have a sound tailor-made to beautifully compliment their seemingly endless vocal range of both styles and tones.
