Flat Nine has been recording and performing live in their own venue, The Downtown Social Club for 5 years.
Their fascination and love of many genres has compelled them to create an incredibly versatile repertoire ranging from Jazz to Blues to R&B to Country to Gospel and more. What makes them distinctive is their focus on unusual harmony, progression and that all of their recordings are live, ONE TAKE in front of an intimate audience. Their ability to captivate and engage a live audience with their passion, vulnerability and soulfulness is remarkable. Although Flat Nine is new to the worldwide stage, they are no strangers to creating authentic music. Their aim is to play the music people want to hear, what makes them feel great and perhaps even become lost in the sounds and feeling that the music creates.
