Bio

Tyler Perkins started the band in 2005 with one other friend as an "indie side-project". He had written a bunch of music that told a story that he couldn't play with any musicians he knew at the time. Two years later he recruited a bass player, and a drummer and recorded the first studio release, "WINTER EP". Immediately following the release the band changed dramatically. The poppy indie style was no longer appealing which is when Tyler began writing demos for the album recorded a year later entitled "Prelude: Ardor for the Morning Tide". Before the tracking of this cd, the line-up of the band completely changed in the form of an additional guitarist, and a new singer. After the release of "AFTMT" conflict grew among a few of the members which brings us to the current line-up. After recruiting a new drummer, new guitarist, and a new bassist the chemistry among "fled North" seems to be flawless. The band is currently writing new material which they believe to be the best they've made by far, drawing influence from Dance Gavin Dance, Lower Definition, As Cities Burn, Oceana, as well as Lydia, Copeland, Moneen and several other bands with several different genres of music. They hope to record a couple new singles at a very prestigious studio sometime in Summer 2009 as well as a month long tour.
