Feeling a bit camera shy

Flies Are Spies From Hell: Brooding and uplifting piano-led instrumental rock - A more energetic and straight-ahead form of post-rock. Formed in 2004, we have released 2 EP's, a limited edition single, and recently our debut album. We've shared stages with the likes of Russian Circles, Vessels, Fell City Girl, *Shels, UpCDownC, ASIWYFA, Maybeshewill....

We've toured with Red Paper Dragon, Monsters Build Mean Robots, and Wild Dogs in Winter. We will be on tour again in April.

Our first album - "Red Eyes Unravelling" was released in December. It is available from www.fliesarespiesfromhell.com. Its out on Friend Of Mine in Japan.

We've done everything so far off our own backs (and with the support of all the good folk in the underground). Cheers to Sean Organ, Huw at Radio 1, Milly at SpiritFM, Nightshift, Plug in Brighton, Notes, Tsunehiro at Friend of Mine, Rock Sound, I Am Joy Arts Collective. And thanks to all the decent promoters who put passion and effort into the nights they run.

***In 2007, Chris co-founded the I Am Joy Arts and Music Festival in Chichester, which Flies play every year. It always includes post-rock / instrumental events and experimental noise / soundscape experiments, as well as other genres of music and art forms. 2010 will be its fourth year.
