There's something about growing up in the midwest that makes you search for that ever-elusive "something more". This isn't to say there's nothing spectacular about the wide open spaces or endless stretches of interstate, but when you're stuck on the ground, sometimes all you can see is the horizon.

Flight Metaphor - singer/songwriter Mike Harvat, guitarist/vocalist Jonathan Miller, drummer Bill Harvat, and bassist Ben Doubet - blends midwestern rock grit with soaring melodies and the craftwork of smart, calculated musicianship. The band, though still in its infancy, brings years of experience to the table, so they're not wasting any time: Flight Metaphor's debut record releases this July.
