June 21st - Fan Wars 4 came to a close Tuesday night at the Buffalo Club in what was the event's biggest show to date. With a huge crowd on hand, 4 bands took to the stage to give it their all, but in the end one stood out from the rest.
Two weeks in a row, fans came out to support one of the hottest bands in the city and they did not leave disappointed. With an amazing stage show and kick ass songs, FLOOD of FIRE captured the title of Fan Wars 4 Champion and the top prize of $1,400 in cash. - www.fanwars.ca
June 14th - The 4th edition of Fan Wars, Vancouver only fan based music competition, rolled into it's 3rd week of competition with another killer show featuring two of Vancouver's newest bands going head to head. Although the rap-rock collective Northern Alliance put up one hell of a fight, the night belonged to FLOOD of FIRE and their fans. With duel lead guitars and powerful vocals, FLOOD of FIRE electrified The Buffalo Club crowd and propelled them into the FAN Wars 4 finale. The Show was so intense that even the Vancouver Fire Dept. came out to lend their support! (You had to be there!)
Tuesday June 21st will see FLOOD of FIRE take on Cherryacts, The Band N and Among The Betrayed in what some are saying could be the biggest Fan Wars show to date! Doors open @ 7pm - www.fanwars.ca

FLOOD OF FIRE was conceived to bring back the power of rock. Riding the border between Rock and Heavy Metal, FLOOD OF FIRE proves that you can create hard driven music and still appeal to the masses.
Fronted by lead singer, Corey Newport (Kamloops, BC), FLOOD OF FIRE has been making a name for themselves throughout the Vancouver club scene. FLOOD OF FIRE has played over 20 shows within this past year including winning the city wide competition Fan Wars.
The twin lead guitars of Sean Dyer (Cold Lake, AB) and Jon Stecyk (Ft. Saskatchewan, AB) create a harmonic yet powerful combination that brings you back to the glory days of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. These hair raising riffs can be heard on the bands debut recording, available NOW.
FLOOD OF FIRE is fueled by the thunderous rhythm section comprised of Alex Domijan (Burnaby, BC) on bass guitar and Mark Stecyk
(Ft. Saskatchewan, AB) on the skins. The only thing that eclipses FLOOD OF FIREs sound, are their energetic live performances.
FLOOD OF FIRE is the next big group for Canadian Hard Rock. 2006 promises to be a banner year for FLOOD OF FIRE as they hit the road to bring the power to the people.
