Who said that Poetry has limitation? Flowmentalz will demonstrate how poetry has “No Limitation”, by bringing infinite thought into all of his work. Creative thinking magnified through sound is the best synopsis of what this one man’s show has to offer. Born and raised in New Zjersey, Flow’s spoken word style blends poetry to turn everyday life situations into intellectual journeys. Flowmentalz became a favorite of Russell Simmons who has had him on 4 seasons of HBO DEF POETS. In fact Flow’s performance was so humorous and thought provoking that his poem “DRAMA “ was used to promote DEF POETS. Flow, a 1999 Nuyorican semi-finalist, a 2001 New Jersey Word Supremacy finalist, and the 1st member of the 2001 New Jersey National Slam team, is no stranger to slam poetry. He is definitely a campus favorite.
