"Fluent's Supreme Victory"

If the likes of J. Cole and Little Brother didn’t quell your assumptions that MC’s born down south can’t rhyme, Fluent is back with his sophomore effort to hammer the point home.
His second album, which triumphantly carries a title of Supreme Victory, looks to bring back the traditional Hip-Hop model back as it solely conducted by producer J. Cardim (Joe Budden, Lil Wayne, Akon, etc.).
Fluent manages to hit his mark from a hardened approach without displaying the silliness of a bulletproof gangster, as heard on records such as “Death of Me” and “The Game.”
Supreme Victory also packs a punch in the guest appearance department with features from credible wordsmiths such as Action Bronson, Nipsey Hussle, Joe Budden and Guilty Simpson scattered throughout the LP.
Take a complimentary listen to the album in the Soundcloud player below. If this longplayer suits your Hip-Hop palette, reward the work ethic by copping it on iTunes.

"Fluent Medallion Featuring Action Bronson off of the Lp Supreme Victory"

What fun is a Supreme Victory if you don’t get a little something to remember it by? Fluent certainly isn’t gonna be walking away from his latest album without a souvenir. On the final pre-release single off the set, premiered yesterday on 2DopeBoyz, we find the Tar Heel State representative rocking a shiny new Medallion. And he ain’t the only one with some fresh jewelry to show off; Action Bronson gets in on the action, grabbing the mic to spit an engaging closing verse over J. Cardim‘s rousing flip of the Rocky theme. Feeling it? Then be sure to cop Fluent’s latest LP when it drops digitally next Tuesday, July 15. - Djbooth.com
