From Cincinnati Ohio, now residing in North Carolina, Fluent was introduced to the game in late 2001 and is influenced by the early 90's style of hip hop; Fluent is no stranger to all genres of music. Growing up in a musically inclined household he mastered his craft and developed the art of song writing. After moving from Cincinnati to Chapel Hill, NC, he became a well known battle rapper and would go on to open for acts such as KRS-ONE, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Ghostface Killah, Fabolous, Common, G-unit, Royce da 59 and The Clipse, among many others. In 2005 he was given the opportunity to join the world famous "Wake Up Show" with Sway(MTV) and Tech. He later completed several European tours with long time collaborator Kaze, and Artifacts legend El da Sensei. Since then he has released two independent albums. The first album with partial production by legendary Beatsmith 9th Wonder. With two albums under his belt, and two other projects dropping this year, Fluent is definitely a mainstay in Hip Hop and is equipped with an arsenal of creativity built to move the masses.
