Fluffy Little Cowboys take originals & covers and add an
uncommon acoustic sound that mixes a lilting East Coast charm with a rural
Ontario edge. Combining smoky vocals
with driving djembe and sparse but insightful leads, the ‘Cowboys’ strive for
beauty in simplicity. As
multi-instrumentalists, they bring combinations of sax, drum, mandolin, guitar,
banjo, accordion and standup bass to the stage, providing a performance that is
varied and memorable. As a duo, this
group is portable and elegant … as a quartet they will fill a room with sound,
moving from pretty to powerful faster than a horse can circle a barrel.
The Cowboys have just finished recording their first EP featuring some East Coast je ne sais quoi (This Old Bridge) along with some Melissa Ferrick’esque alt-folk (Thirteen Hours). Now they are ready to hit the road and play.
Festivals and small rooms alike will benefit from the Fluffy Little Cowboys’ small town charm and classic harmonies.
