Fluid Impulse will take the stage in the Entertainment Tent at the DuPage County Fair, Wheaton, Illinois, on Saturday, July 30th at 9 PM. Tagged the “Best Band under 21” by Suburbanites Magazine, they have performed throughout the Midwest at colleges, clubs, festivals and concerts.
The four member band blends rock and reggae with a touch of jazz to create a distinctive style in their original music. Fluid Impulse also covers music from Sublime, 311, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, Incubus and more.
Winfield claims three members of the band who have been together since 2009, drummer Steven Pack, bassist T.J. Hahs and guitarist Derek Soutar . In January 2011, Wheaton songwriter/vocalist, Brandon Batchelar joined the group.
“We are thrilled to be playing for our hometowns,” says bassist T. J. Hahs “This was where it all started for us and we are planning a great show for our fans!”
The concert is free but admission to the fair is required; $8.00 per day or $25.00 for all five days.
The DuPage County Fair is located on Manchester & County Farm Roads in Wheaton, Illinois and runs July 27th – July 31st. - Chicago Tribune
