FLYBOYZ BIOGRAPHY
The Flyboyz, Teflon and Tosha, grew up as childhood friends in Clearwater, Fl. However, they did not actually start performing together until June of 2011. Despite their recent beginnings, the rap duo has received great success and admiration from fans and other artists in the Tampa Bay Area. Their first single, Shut it Down, was well received by the public and proved to be a true club banger by making everyone get on the dance floor. Since June they have written over a dozen original songs together. Their beats are mesmerizing, their hooks are catchy, and their lyrics are innovative; their music is unique and attracts everyone from teenage girls to hardcore thugs. Three of their hottest songs including Shut it Down, Krabby Patty, and Dirty Dancer are currently being spun by a number of DJ's across the Bay area.

The Flyboyz have been featured and performed live at many clubs throughout the Tampa Bay area and are continuing to expand their resume. In addition to night clubs, they have been hired to perform for private events including, graduations, and USF affiliated events. They also have performed for charity events such as the Pinellas County Teen Challenge held at Tropicana Field, and the Gregg-a-Palooza Benefit.

Teflon is the stage name of Chris Sassouni who is the Bay Area’s premier up and coming artist. Born and raised in Clearwater, Florida, Teflon has always been a multi-talented performer with a love and a command of the stage. Starting off as an actor he appeared in numerous commercials and stage plays. Nevertheless, in December of 2010 he discovered that he had a major talent and passion for hip-hop music. He started writing, recording, and performing his unique music under the name of Crush em Hard Entertainment / C3. After making several original songs and performing with other local artists, Teflon was recruited by Tosha to record and perform as a duo under the name of the Flyboyz.

Tosha, or Tavan Hanley, grew up in the same Clearwater neighborhood as Teflon. Although everyone believed he was destined for the NFL because of his quick speed and agility, Tosha knew that music was his true calling. In 2008 he started rapping with a few other local rappers under the name Flyboyz and fell in love with the creativity of writing and the thrill of performing. With his Cali swag, catchy lyrics, and fresh dance moves, Tosha adds an irreplaceable touch to any performance.

The Flyboyz first mix tape is expected to be released in 2012.
