Once you hear Fly Upright Kite you will understand how the new Boston-based band has gained a loyal and large following. Fly Upright Kite, a young energetic, power pop/rock band that produces beautiful emotional music creates a sound that will always leave the audience wanting more. Fly Upright Kite grew its wings in late 2004 at Berklee College of Music which was the meeting ground for Asad Rahman (vocals, guitar), Brian Guilmette (guitar), Liam McCormack (bass, vocals), Jared Grant (drums) and Holland Dieringer (violin). Fly Upright Kite has gained much acceptance as being more than ‘just a berklee band’ with their unique style. Their heartfelt compositions are laced with well crafted pop melodies that will linger in your head for days.
