The name FM Berlin gets its inspiration from (Bassist) Glen Farquhar's father who, in June of 1960, carried a concealed camera into Soviet occupied East Berlin, and was able to smuggle pictures of the bombed out city back to Canada.  FM Berlin  ( Free Man Berlin ) leave nothing concealed when it comes to their frenetic live performances which are reminiscent of  bands like The Hives, The Police, and The Walkmen.

In 2014 FM Berlin took home the Music New Brunswick Emerging Artist of the Year award for their debut EP "In The Interest of National Security" (released under their previous band name 60 LPs).  With a new album on the way, showcases at this year's East Coast Music Week Festival, and tour dates to be announced, FM Berlin are preparing themselves for a massive 2015.
