"FO8"

"I'm willing to support FO8 all the way - they sound fantastic live, have great determination to make it in the music industry and are extremely talented" - Clare Lloyd, Capital Radio Group

"Call off the dogs!"

"Call off the dogs! (FO8's sound) is a corker...like The Music mixed with T-Rex. Nice ideas, good voice, good band. Rockin' indeed!" - Matthew Priest (ex-drummer for UK band Dodgy), Rhythm Magazine, Nov, 2003

"High Voltage!"

"Figure of 8's gut busting vigour and speed-fuelled thrills ensure an explosive end to the night...(FO8) possess a careless proficiency for making what they do look easy. Figure of 8 are so devoured that they don't even stop to draw breath."
- Abi Lewis, Eraze Magazine

"Too Big For The Stage"

"Figure of 8 caused a sound too big for the stage and a static admiration amongst the crowd" - Gair Rhydd Newspaper

Bio

Fo8 comprises six attractive young men – Al, Coris, Berriman, Dog, Geth and Stu – who realise that looks will only get a person so far. Fortunately they’re armed with tunes that could well take them the rest of the way. Formed in Cardiff in the summer of 2004, Fo8 was quickly voted Red Dragon FM’s Best Unsigned Band. This year the band reached the final 12 (from more than 1,600) of the Glastonbury Festival Unsigned Competition. In March, the song Scratchin The Man gained an Honourable Mention in the annual, Nashville-based International Songwriting Competition (www.songwritingcompetition.com), reaching the final 100 (from more than 11,000 entries). Fo8 has also revelled in repeated local radio airplay on stations like Red Dragon (Capital) and the BBC.

Fo8 has played many venues across the UK, including The Garage, the Little Civic Wolverhampton, Cardiff Barfly, Carling Islington Academy and The Dublin Castle. In short, they’ll play anywhere given half the chance. The band’s done several outdoor events, including a launch party in Cardiff city centre in front of a crowd of 2,000.
