Bio
Focal Point is a seven-piece rock band from the Richmond Va. area. It has a deep well of talent from which to tap. This includes three songwriter/ vocalists, Mike Costley (rhythm guitar), Will Hamblen (lead guitar), and Steve Barnard (keyboards). George Britt (lead guitar) rounds out the six-string trio with some top-notch leads while laying down some backing vocals for four-part harmony. Eddie Slade keeps the group in line with his steady driving drumming while Paul Tallent delivers the thumping bottom end on Bass. Wayne Mears puts the icing to the cake with his energetic and tasteful percussion. The group shuffles these assets to cover a diverse mix of original music venturing from classic Rock & Roll to percussion laden Swamp Rock, to Country Rock and more.
