FOIL

FOIL

BandMetalRock

Fueled by alcohol & politics, vague lyrics are disguised with screaming rage & chugging guitars reminiscent of old school metal. With a dusting of blues & a sprinkling of rockabilly bass that makes-you-wanna-light-up-your-hot-rod-tires, FOIL surprises the senses

Biography

FOIL's birth took place in the cornfileds of Central Illinois in fall 1999 as a need to occupy time between harvests. "Make a Fist", the debut album wrapped in late 2000, immediately winning over local corn fed audiences. The increasing demand of a successful album led FOIL to sign on with Harsh Entertainment in 2001. This adventure expanded FOIL's audiences to a larger radius of cornfields with radio airplay in Eastern Iowa & Southern Illinois. Touring experience & band maturity grew as opportunities to play on stages with Anthrax, Svevndust & Coal Chamber were accepted.
Circumstances outside of FOIL"s control left them with a revolving door of drummers as they wrote, recorded & promoted their second studio album, "Echo of Madness" in summer 2004. Again, band maturity grew on the road trip to El Paso, Texas where FOIL recorded & lived with Pissing Razor's producer & drummer, Eddie Razor. Since the release of "Echo of Madness", band gear has been stolen and a drummer solidified.

Lyrics

ECHO OF MADNESS

Written By: FOIL

ITSBREAKING INSIDE YOU
LETS SEE THIS THRU
THE ECHO OF MADNESS
HAS BEEN BROKEN THROUGH
CANT SEE THRU THE DARKNESS
ALL AROUND YOU
ITS WALKING A THIN LINE
ALL THE TIME
FALLING DOWN
IN WORLDS OF WAR
NEVER THE SUNSHINE
ALL YOUR WISDOM
THE TEST OF TIME
ALL THEIR THOUGHTS WE'VE KNOWN
THE BOUNDARIES OF STONE
FALLING DOWN
ACCEPT THIS OVERKILL
LEARN TO ACCEPT THIS
WE'RE TAKING OVERKILL
FALLING DOWN
