Many call her a genius with the pen, most know her as a poet of words compelling raw emotion with every show, Folami Anjelique Moon is not only a daughter to the earth but she is also devoted to changing her community. Against the mainstream flow of things, she adds flava to edutainment.

Folami Anjelique Moon is all about the people and community awareness. Born in the small town of Bridgeton located in south Jesery and grew up all around America. I have been performing music since my early years when I started and managed, dressed, rehearsed my own all girl group. In the late 90s I was fortunate to be a part of a performance team that went around educating people on substance abuse and premature sex and its effects through music, poetry and plays. Aside from music I have been educating young people since 1997, as a peer educator and teacher's assistant in an after-school and summer youth program. I spent time speaking on substance abuse at women's conferences and workshops. In 1999, I became a national recording artist appearing on Rufus/Rescue Records artist ROAR's album Dozen Diamonds of Warfare. I have played with artist such as Wyclef Jean and Floetry, and I have also performed for the school for the deaf. In 2002, I released my LP soul cry a collaborative effort with some great artist out of Tallahassee Florida. Over the years I have been steady at work working to make a difference in the way we view adversary and differences.

On the frontline of this global condition
