"Band of the Week"

The Saint Cloud's hard work over the past few years has finally paid off. The band earned three Lehigh Valley Music Award nominations (for Best Entertaining Band, Best Original Band, and Best New Band/Artist), and in December released its first studio EP.

Add to that the band's hefty gig schedule, which has the band members playing out several times each week. It's crazy and busy, but also hard-earned so you won't hear the boys in The Saint Cloud complain.

*If you could play any venue, where would it be?
TJ: The old standby, Madison Square Garden.
Dylan: I'd say Fillmore West. Although its probably closed. It's very historic.
Brian: How about Royal Albert hall? There have been some historical shows there.

*If your music were to be used in any movie, what would it fit with best?
TJ: High Fidelity. Working in a record shop. It's a culmination of all the different influences meeting in that one building. One sound.
Brian: I could see us in a Western. Like a Clint Eastwood movie.

*If you could play back up for anyone, or if you had to be a cover band for any band, which would you choose?
Dylan: Bob Dylan in the 1960s.
TJ: Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. We're so influenced by them and play a ton of their stuff.
Brian: I'd do anything. Even, like, Sinatra or something. - Merge (The Morning Call)

Bio

Self-styled one man band, Brian Follweiler writes his own songs, sings, strums, and harps his way around New York City. Occasionally joining forces with musician friends in small ensembles or jam sessions.

Born and raised in Allentown, PA. Educated, came of age in Baltimore, MD.

New Album Drops in January!

The Plan is: to release 4 seasonal EPs throughout 2009. Sketches, if you will, for a full-length, fully arranged album the next year. I have a big backlog of songs, I'm working on new songs, and I want to find a way to release that material in a way that's easily digestible for new listeners, and paves the way for something bigger.
