Bio
Fonfur is an eclectic mix of musicians from across the GTA and beyond, playing anything and everything that can be found under the Indie Rock umbrella.
Originally comprised of founders Pavel Soltys on vocals and guitar, as well as James Young on drums, the lineup was quickly solidified with the additions of Michael Schroeder on guitar, and Camille Comeau on bass. The four bonded over their deep appreciations for all things music, citing bands such as We Are Scientists, Alt-J, The Pillows, and Tokyo Police Club as common ground, as well as early influences.
In September 2017 the band went into the studio with friend and producer Taylor Lucas to record their debut EP. The result is a 6 track, guitar driven collection of songs entitled New Rules for Classic Games, released October 19th, 2018
