"Reviews"

"Catch her now and you can say you saw her when"....... is the familiar cliche, but in this case there is concrete reason to believe it. Fontaines' sultry vocals remind me of a less sedate Margot Timmins." Dan Cook

"Endowed with a dreamy voice and an ear for catchy melodies, Fontaine will likely be another Carolina cultural export if she holds steady." Alex Todorovic

"Fontaine is a visually stunning, vocally alluring singer, songwriter and guitarist. Born into a family of musicians and visual artists, her rich dusky vocals paint an aural canvas all their own." Kevin Oliver

"In a relatively short time, Fontaine has found a loyal audience that catches her concerts wherever and whenever they can. One person attending last week’s Rock for Choice benefit said he’s seen her perform more than a dozen times. The honesty and quality of her songs, he said, are what resonate." Jonathan Perry

"Are we witnessing a star on the rise? The first time I saw Fontaine play, she was hauntingly good. She had a very tight guitar style (although it was no frills) and an undeniable stage presence." Luke Robinson

Los Angeles based singer/songwriter, Fontaine, has already shared a stage with Paula Cole, performed at Lilith Fair, and provided back-up vocals for Rob Zombie and Josh Brown. "Long Way Home", off of her debut album "The Chemistry Between Us" is featured in the film "All In", starring Michael Madsen, Dominique Swain and Louis Gosset Jr. The French born, South Carolina raised singer has spent years honing her sound, and has finally found her niche, with the production of Mike Datz (Blue Man Group), who also co-wrote two of the tracks on the record. Peter Adams, who has worked with Tracy Bonham, and most recently, The Subways, also played a huge role in the final outcome of the record. "The Chemistry Between Us" was mixed by Mike Datz and mastered by Evan Frankfort of Would Work Sound, who has worked with The Wallflowers and Pete Yorn. Les Hall, guitar/keyboard player for Howie Day and Trey Anastasio also helped produce two of tracks on her record. She and Mike Datz have just completed the follow-up record, "Beautiful Thing" in their Los Angeles based home studios, to be released January 2009.
