Founded in late 2003, singer Roland Ramos incorporates many style influences into his writing. The moniker, “reggae-boogie-disco-rock,” only partially describes the band. There are elements of hip-hop, soul, and funk. Mostly, Forbidden Fruit, strives to defy genre.
