Biography

From da Heights For da Hood
To 80’s babies rise in a New York City Ghetto

This duo is from Washington Heights aka Wa Hi, Home of the Haze, Uptown Manhattan, New York City. Having been friends since their single digit years, the chemistry found in their enduring partnership is reflected on the music they make. Complementing each other they have divided Hip Hop Music evenly.

The Producer professional Rah masterminds behind the boards while effortlessly delivering verses. $urge, the more vocal of the two, is the lyrical front man of the self sustaining song factory.

With mixtape appearances and a compilation album already under their belts the group is soon to release their self-titled debut album.

Relying on the hope and passion of urban youth the image of “the dream” is clearly heard in their themes.

As they say:
“Were from da Heights but were for da Hood . . . . every hood!”
