With there experimental, music and emotional lyrics, Dredg constantly seems to paint you a picture within the music they create. Their musical abilities allow them to cover all ends of the spectrum; everything from progressive/alternative rock to jazz to ambient drum and bass, Making their music come alive in many different dimensions .
Formed in 1996, and playing clubs before they were even out of high school, they were ecstatic about the record deal they had landed with Universal. So far Dredg has released 3 albums. Coming out with there first album in 1997, Leitmotif, the band was ambitious for the release. Soon there after Dredg was able to re-release the album with Interscope, quickly followed by El Cielo, in 2002. And in 2005 Catch Without Arms, there most succesful album was released. Terry Date, who produced albums from Pantera and Deftones, produced this album. It seems like it can only get better from here!
Dredg has always maintained a positive outlook and have never been an angry band. With extremely emotional lyrics and rock, yet, ambient sound, Dredg creates a live experience that will give you the utmost energy and flow throughout your soul.
