Forever Tonight began in the spring/summer of 2008 when founding members Ryan Smith (bass) and Nick Albert (lead guitar/ vocals) began working on acoustic tracks. The two began playing small open shows when they landed drummer Phil Hemperly to complete the group. Influenced by groups such as Rufio, Senses Fail, Taking Back Sunday, Story of the Year, Green Day, Blink 182, Alkaline Trio, New Found Glory, Anberlin, Lagwagon, Less Than Jake, Fall Out Boy, Hit The Lights, Third Eye Blind, and On Faith Alone, Forever Tonight blends together a wide variety of genres and styles. The band now resides in the central Pennsylvania area with an EP in the works and is anticipating playing many more shows within the near future.
