"Total Rock Radio"

"For those who haven't heard Forever Vendetta's new EP, these three tracks sit somewhere between Motley Crüe's Live Wire and Hardcore Superstar's We Don't Celebrate Sundays, mixing elements of punk rock, glam rock and heavy metal. With a nod to the past, this band is heading to the future" - Iain Frisk

"Uber Rock Live Review (Headline Show)"

"Forever Vendetta is certainly a band on the up and, having spoken to a couple of people in the audience, they look to be adding to their fan base pretty extensively. I like to think I can spot a gem from a pile of shit a mile away and on this occasion I was proved right."

"Top Rock Radio (Featured Band of The Month - Nov 09)"

"A plethora of influences have come together in the music to give a fresh, original approach to a classic style, and I can tell you, the results are fantastic. I absolutely love them. Need to catch them live and YOU need to get hold of thier EP. Gonna go a long, long way. That is for sure." - DJ Beerman

"Uber Rock Live Review (Supporting HARDCORE SUPERSTAR)"

"The guys were certainly packing the punters in early. Songs like 'Restless Heart' and 'My Ecstasy' were well received by those squeezed up front. Credit to the guys for taking the bull by the horns and turning up night with a raised middle finger that immediately gets your attention. They have the passion and some good, possibly even great songs that make them the band that will blow everyone away."

"Uber Rock EP Review"

"I've witnessed Swansea's Forever Vendetta live several times over the last twelve months, and was rather chuffed when the band's guitarist and general all round good guy KC Leigh handed me their debut studio offering at a recent show. Forever Vendetta are a band that always seem to hook me in with the odd tune or two live, so I was immediately hoping those just might make it onto this debut three track offering.

And bingo, we are off and running with one of them straightaway, track two 'My Ecstasy' which is for me the stand out track of this collection. This is a really top tune that sounds somewhere between the Maiden riffery of Avenged Sevenfold and the cocksure swagger of Buckcherry. A great start to my Forever Vendetta experience. Even if it is the second track Next up and the EP's closer 'Unbreakable' again has an air of Avenged Sevenfold about it, and is packed full of guitar heroics from KC and Skwair.

The lead track of this EP, 'Young Free & Crazy' is much more of a cock rock anthem (as if you didn't get it from the title) and is a little at odds with the other tracks on the CD, hence why I've left it till last. To my ears it sounds dangerously close to Jizzy era L.A. Guns and not the real L.A. Guns (if you get my drift) and also suffers from an overly long arrangement. Never the less this is still a live favourite for the guys; it just doesn't do it for me here.

So there you go, Forever Vendetta certainly have managed to dispel that nasty urban myth perpetrated by Hollywood icon Dougray Scott that Forever Vendetta come from a pretty shitty city, filled with caravan dwellers, by releasing this self financed EP of US sounding metal excess that is most definitely the sound of The Whisky A Go Go as opposed to the Jersey Arms any day.

Now it's just a case of taking this music to the masses by gigging the hell out of these songs, which I've heard rumour the guys intend to do this spring/summer, with a UK tour partnering up with fellow Welsh rock 'n' roll rebels The Infamous.

But please don't hang around waiting until then to hear what I'm on about here. You can download these tracks from the band's Myspace site for free right now. Then, come the tour get out there and see them live. You will not regret it!!!"

"Amped Wales Live Review (Supporting VAINS OF JENNA)"

"Forever Vendetta, the startlingly young and gifted quintet, are a refreshing take on the early 80s riff heavy metal scene, giving nods to the likes of Van Halen, Poison and of course the mighty Motley Crue – in fact frontman Chris Stryker’s vocal style bears an uncanny resemblance to David Lee Roth, with the guttural tone of the Crue’s Vince Neil.
Lead guitarist KC Leigh oozes confidence, throwing shapes all over the shop with a Gibson Firebird joined to his hip and all manners of groovetastic riffs blasting through his stack. Leigh’s rhythm counterpart Skwair provides a solid six string backdrop and occasionally joins in the riffage providing Thin Lizzy style harmonics, all this adorning the tight rhythm section of L.A. on bass and KB Stephens on drums.
A mighty setlist featuring a blinding take on Stevie Wonder’s Superstition has whipped the crowd into a frenzy, this agonisingly youthful band have set the bar high." - Jarrad "Noir" Owens

Bio

Hailing from Swansea, South Wales these city boys are no strangers to the busy life. Having only formed in Late 2008, Forever Vendetta have acheived things that other bands in the genre take years to acheive. Sharing stages already with the likes of Hardcore Superstar, Vains Of Jenna, LA Guns and Tigertailz these boys already have thier foot firmly in the door of the music scene and are ready to slam it open at any time. Early Summer 2010 saw the band play the UK's most renowned student festival "Break Break Live 2010" along side Calvin Harris, Vampire Weekend, Ellie Goulding and more. The band also made a list of 10 bands to support Ozzy Osbourne, the final 10 bands (which Forever Vendetta were part of) were listened to by the Prince Of Darkness himself, as listed on http://www.myspace.com/ozzyneedsyou.

Still distributing tracks from thier debut EP via Myspace, which can be downloaded for free from thier blog, the boys have got their music out to the masses. They have been welcomed with open arms by many radio stations for airplay, many venues have been laid to waste by the intense live show that they deliver so well. Many people have come and gone in the knowledge they have just seen something they might not ever have seen before.

The three tracks recorded, "Young, Free and Crazy","My Ecstasy" and show stopper "Unbreakable" have just given people a taste of what the band can do. Anyone who has seen them live will know these 3 songs are not the be all and end all of the band. With new material currently being played live that far surpasses the original material, things are definatley looking good for Forever Vendetta.

April 2010 saw Forever Vendetta embark on their first full-length UK tour along side fellow Welsh rockers The Infamous. The band toured relentlessly across the country and playing to great crowds and feedback every night of the tour.

The band have just finished recording their follow up EP, "This Bullet's For You", with Swansea producer Ray Davies. The scheduled release date for this EP is October 1st 2010, it will be released at one of 2 live shows and self distributed by the band.
