Bio

For Every Day soars above the horizon of today’s emerging rock heavyweights. This hard-rocking band from Flower Mound, Texas is comprised of brothers Jacob and Nick Simmons, Alex Neal and Tyler Gray. Since their inception in 2005, For Every Day has evolved into a powerful, musical rock-fest of epic proportions. Their masterful mix of heavy-hitting rock anthems and heartfelt melodies converts everyone who experiences their music into instant fans.

For Every Day’s critically acclaimed first EP, released in late 2007, featured five original songs that deliver rarified talent, deep personal revelation, and clear-cut musical maturity. Lead singer and songwriter Jacob Simmons explains, ” A lot of what’s on our first EP is written from the perspective of someone who is either in the throes of a personally challenging experience, or someone who has survived a painful event, made it through to the other end of the tunnel, and is stronger as a result. It’s that perspective, and the individual experiences we each bring to the table, that allow us to really create something pretty amazing.”

Shortly thereafter, in the summer of 2008 the band released their first full-length LP. The self-titled opus further reveals the multi-faceted dimensions of For Every Day, showcasing their true musicianship and songwriting capabilities. The eleven original songs lead the listener through a smooth progression of haunting melodies and on to the head-banging, throbbing intensity FED delivers in their live shows.

In the spring of 2009, FED released a new EP with producer Will Hoffman. This new sampling, featuring songs “Give”, “Stay” and “Stare”, makes a definitive
statement about For Every Day’s resolve to continue reaching for new heights.

Jacob continues, “Not only have we been fortunate to work together for several years now, but we’re also continually pushing ourselves to improve and evolve as a group. I think our last EP is a perfect example of that development. Over the past few years we’ve been fortunate enough to play some pretty high-profile venues,
such as South by Southwest, Dallas’ House of Blues, Grapefest, Taste of Addison and the State Fair of Texas. We’re all just thrilled to be doing what we love—playing live shows for our fans. The sky-high energy and feeling you get when the crowd is feeding off of your music is beyond comparison. There’s really nothing else like it.”

“It’s easy for us to see where we’re going with this” says Jacob, “We’re lucky to have found great chemistry in For Every Day. For now, we’re focusing on spreading the word by performing regularly and introducing our music to new people. Next up, we look forward to taking FED around the world!"
