Forget About Boston is a San Francisco based Rock and Roll band taking live rock music to the next level. The band has been playing in and around San Francisco for over 3 years and has developed a significant fan base as well as a solid reputation for playing a killer show. All of the band’s music & lyrics are original though they have been known to pull out a brilliant cover from time to time. Their influences include The Rolling Stones, Oasis, The Beatles, Jet and The Black Crowes, among others.

The band recently won the Emergenza Music Festival in San Francisco after multiple preliminary rounds based on audience vote. This accomplishment allowed the band to represent the region in the U.S. Finals at the Key Club in Hollywood. The band has also rocked local venues such as Slim's, Cafe Du Nord, Bottom of the Hill, Elbo Room, Red Devil Lounge, RockIt Room, Biscuits & Blues, etc. Their new EP, Super Ego is available on iTunes.

History: Horacio and Raphael originally started playing together in South America, having grown up as friends. Eventually, they ended up on opposite ends of the U.S. and Horacio convinced Raphael to leave Boston and move to the West Coast to continue their music career (hence the name of the band).

Forget About Boston has a unique, energetic sound that is like no other. The hard drumline, killer guitar & bass solos and melodic, heart-felt lyrics keep the most diverse crowds begging for more.
