"Rivers & Spires’s Last Band Standing Results"

Z97.5’s hosted its 2010 “Last Band Standing” at the Rivers & Spires Festival Friday & Saturday. Friday’s winner was “Kris Bell”. After Forgotten Fable took the stage at 5pm Saturday, they were announced as the day’s winner. With both days winners announced they went “head to head” to get the crowd and the judge’s final pick as 2010 “Last Band Standing”.

Forgotten Fable was the last band scheduled to play for Saturday’s semi-finals, they had the largest and most involved crowd their first time around, and also their first time playing in Clarksville. Forgotten Fable is sure to come back as the band was guaranteed a spot at The Warehouse. After Forgotten Fable played their first set of the evening and were announced the day’s winners, they were immediately thrown into the finals.

In the finals, Kris Bell played first, and gave yet another great performance. Forgotten Fable, followed shortly after their first rigorous set took the stage back, and the crowd was ready for them. They played another of their original pieces.

After the judges votes were tallied, Forgotten Fable was declared the Last Band Standing.

Forgotten Fable will go on to play bigger and better shows, one coming soon to Nashville being June 19 where the band will be opening for Powerman 5000.

They also just finished up recording for a TV show premiering on Fox17 and myTV30 this summer, “Not Just Country”. Forgotten Fable definitely is not country, however the crowd didn’t mind, every CD and every shirt the band brought with them had been sold by the end of the night. Forgotten Fable referred fans to go to their website for hard copies and digital copies, and anyone can find their new album on iTunes as well.

You can check out the band yourself at www.ForgottenFable.com which will take you to the band’s MySpace page, they welcome all to become their friend, and stay updated with the latest news. You can also download a free copy of the band’s NEW SINGLE, “Speechless”.

Forgotten Fable breaks the mold and creates a new sound that comes from the heart of America. Not for the faint of heart, Andrew Taylor's wrenching lyrics may be the outlet for your pain, the outlet you never had. For the fortunate ones, this is just a window that will allow a glimpse into the world of hurt, often imposed by self infliction, but under some circumstances by those who were destined to be protectors, mentors, family, and friends.

On the radio airwaves, in late 2009, with their debut CD on the horizon, Forgotten Fable took the title, consecutively, as listeners called in and voted them “Buzz Battle Champions” on 102.9fm The Buzz, “Everything That Rocks”. The band’s first single, “Speechless”, powered the winning punch. Forgotten Fable is one of the youngest bands to attain the title. As of March 1, 2010, Forgotten Fable is still #1 on the “Local Buzz” section of 1029thebuzz.com.

Online, Forgotten Fable has an ever-increasing presence has allowed the band to keep fans updated on their every move. Now with over 40,000 fans on the popular social networking site, MySpace, the demand for a national tour has been heard and made evident.
