Biography

Forgotten Youth are a London based power punk trio fresh on the capital’s vibrant rock scene. Originally from South Africa, the band re-located to London in 2004 to seek bigger and bolder horizons.

Despite having an average age of just 21 years, this unsigned group have racked up an impressive list of achievements:

·Two No. 1 songs on Barney Simon’s “Powerzone Top 40” on leading South African Radio Station 5FM (for songs “Losing Out” and “Boy vs. Girl”)

·Track on Fat Wreck Chords “Family Business” compilation

·Released single “Losing Out” on Sony Music (South Africa)

·Tracks on Session Magazine’s Skate Video, Blunt Magazine’s Skate Video, as well as a S.A. Extreme Sports video

·Played to crowds of over 35,000 at South Africa’s biggest festivals including Woodstock 3, The Rock Show and Splashy Fen

·Appearing on Eastpak’s ProPunkRocker 4 compilation (for GAS) being released by Side One Dummy Records in spring 2005
