Bio
Formidable Cry is a Christian Rock Band formed in 2010 from Greeley CO. The band consists of Gene Vigil on lead vocals and guitar; James Ballen on bass, synth and vocals; Ernie Mose on drums and vocals, and Bob Olivier on keyboards, synth and vocals.
Formidable Cry's formation is ultimate proof in the theory of “Six Degrees of Separation,” in that the band members came from many genres of music and different paths of life. With many years experience playing different venues, each member found themselves looking for a more meaningful way to share their gifts. They decided to form a band that would take their music on a new journey combining their writing skills and styles. The result is music that they hope encourages their listeners to contemplate heavily on the words and possibly allow them to question for themselves about what they believe and where they stand.
The name Formidable Cry was created to represent their unique style and music. The belief behind the name is to present a powerful and inspirational voice.
Formidable Cry is releasing their first independent CD, “What Would I Do,” this spring. Their desire for this album is that it will inspire and touch their audience to move up and onward in their path of life.
