Formula

Formula birth name Tian Clarke, was born January 22,1990 in Lucea, Hanover. He is the last of five kids for his mother. He attended the Kendal primary school where he graduated as the top male in his class after sitting the GSAT examination and went on to this first choice; Rusea’s High school. He graduated 2007 and went on to work in the tourism industry at the beaches Negril resorts as most people in the western part of Jamaica.

Music has always been a source relaxing and a way of clearing the mind for Formula. His inspiration comes from life and the things that he experiences in everyday living. For a few years music was just a hobby for the young artist until he started recording and his talent started reaching the ears of fans of the music. His talent and passion was instantly recognized and admired.

The encouragement came from all angles to take the music to a professional level and that he did. He started getting on every mic before every audience he could, developing his voice and stage presence. Formula got the attention of few promoters with his lyrical capabilities who then offered him his first real gigs with established artists such as; Cham, Kranium and Mr. Vagas.

Formula has since then released a number of solid reggae and dancehall tracks and seems to be getter better everytime he enters the studio. Formula is currently an independent Artist working with his own childhood friends as the “Future Kings Ent”. - 18KarotReggae
