"For The Irony - Hometown Musicians"

"The sound is reminiscent of '70's Southern rock, with searing blues licks and slide guitar parts that tip a hat to The Allman Brothers Band. More strung-out jams will have you searching for your Grateful Dead albums and a pair of patchwork pants" - Vox Magazine

"Anyone checked out the new FTI album lately?"

OK....I went and listened to the songs on MySpace. I've never listened to FTI.

Beautiful sight plays first.
Right in the beginning I thought I heard Hootie. Not that that is a bad thing...
I like that the entire song doesn't sound the same all the way through but has easy changes from soft to harder. It ended a bit abruptly, but not bad all in all.

Next up: Soulshine
(For some reason this song only comes through one side of my headphones)
It's an ok remake...the recording is off though. I'd rather hear it live.

Moving on to Stand Back and Smile...I skipped the end of the last song to this. Sounds a lot better. I liked it right away. Nice opening beat...good harmonies. My favorite thus far.

Up to Ain't it right.
Here's the southern classic rock song you partially bill yourself as. Probably the most danceable of the 4 songs, but a bit short.

I'm off to check your band website now...

I like the cover of the album. The mix of graphic art with the photo worked well.

Listening to clips off the album.

My final thought, I'd like to see you all perform live to catch the true essence of what your band sounds like. Jerrod, you have a nice voice. - Firedancer (Assistant ComoMusic Editor)
