Fortress of Faith

The band was created in October 2005 by Mihai and other former members, but the history of the band really began in December when Alex and then Vanda joined in. During the spring and summer of 2006 the band worked at the new tracks that were composed mainly by Vanda but also by Alex. The first album, entitled “Birth” was recorded in October 2006 and was composed of three songs: Vampyric, Love is Dead and Angels on the Walls. Then Claudiu Gal became our bass player in November 2006. On the 7th of December Fortress of Faith had it's first gig in the opening of the band L.O.S.T. On the 6th of May the band had a gig with Magica and this was the best at that time. After a series of other concerts and a break caused by personal matters in December 2008 the band began working on a new album entitled "Fields of Madness". On the 21st of February 2009 Bogdan Grigoras joined the band as our new bass player. Our influences come from our main composers: Alex who listens to a lot of jazz, blues but also metal and heavy metal and Vanda who listens to more obscure stuff like doom, gothic metal. We think that what sets us apart from other bands is our attitude, our way of playing and our music.
