Bio
Formed in late 2012, fwd: twists hip-hop, rock, and fusion music into a jazzy format. fwd: consist of four Cincinnati locals: Mauki McGruder (synthesized trumpet), Max Greenberg (keyboard), Will Wagner (bass) and Jeremy Myint (drums). The band features covers of pop classics, as well as original compositions. The sound is something of an eclectic nature; the sounds of ear-soothing jazz influence mixed with jaw-clenching, tight rhythmic feels. The group ventures into the fresh sounds progressive rock and hip-hop, with jazz harmonies. fwd: check it out.
